We’re Charlotte & Roya: best friends, business partners, and the masterminds behind Vomiting Estrogen!

Roya’s a content marketing strategist, marketing expert, and brand specialist. Charlotte’s a comedian, producer, writer, and actress. Together, our creative vomit is so palpable it practically drips off everything we touch.

We met in a co-living facility in LA in 2021, with Charlotte’s bunk randomly assigned right above Roya’s. In a house with over 12 roommates, our friendship not only survived — it thrived. It’s that deep, sparkly, forever kind of connection you know will last the rest of your life.

But why call it "vomiting estrogen"? Well, when we moved out of the co-living, we still shared a bedroom (LA rent prices). The room we moved into was ultra-masculine and downright drab. As soon as the ink dried on the lease, we redecorated in a way that matched their rich, vivid aesthetic. When we showed guests, Roya would always say we "vomited estrogen" on the room.

Then came Charlotte’s birthday — Roya bought her a set of cheeky tees, including one that said “I <3 medium ugly men.” That shirt became a walking conversation starter, and broke as ever, we had a revelation: what if we made a whole-ass t-shirt brand? One that was sly, raunchy, girly, and exactly our sense of humor.

 

And just like that, Vomiting Estrogen was born — out of friendship, petty genius, and a healthy disrespect for subtlety and nonchalance.
